Vakit – Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Vakit, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. App Features and Services

The Vakit app offers the following features:

• Prayer Times: Current prayer times with location-based calculations
• Qibla Direction: Real-time qibla compass and direction finding
• Notifications: Local notifications for prayer times
• iOS Widgets: Home screen widgets for quick access
• Live Activities: Dynamic Island integration for live prayer time tracking
• Multi-language Support: Turkish and English language options
• Calculation Methods: Turkey Diyanet, Umm al-Qura and other methods
• Advertising Support: Ad display with Google AdMob

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Location Permission: Providing accurate location information for prayer time calculations and qibla direction
• Notification Permission: Granting necessary permissions to receive prayer time notifications
• Legal Compliance: Using the App in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Intellectual Property: Not attempting to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
• Religious Respect: Respecting the religious and cultural purpose of the App
• Proper Usage: Using the App only for prayer times and qibla direction finding purposes
• Updates: Installing app updates to experience the best performance

4. Intellectual Property and Licensing

The Vakit app and all its content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Hakan Çelik and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Usage License:

• Personal Use: You may use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes
• No Copying: You may not copy, distribute, or sell the app
• No Modification: You may not reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works
• Source Code: You have no right to access the source code

Third-Party Licenses:

• Adhan Library: Adhan library is used for prayer time calculations
• Google AdMob: Google AdMob is used for advertising services
• Apple Frameworks: Apple's official frameworks are used for iOS development

5. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the App, to understand our practices.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
