What sets it apart
• Times are computed on the device — the Turkish Diyanet method is implemented as its own calculator and measured against the authority's published calendar. • The sky is part of the app: the sun and the moon are placed astronomically and the palette moves through seven stages, from first light to deep night; the same palette continues in the widgets, on the Lock Screen and on Apple Watch. • Worship records stay with the person: make-up prayers and fasts, hatim progress, dhikr and goals live on the device and in the user's own iCloud. • Advertising is the norm in this category; Vakit shows none at all. The app's only source of income is optional donations from users.
